The Story Behind Our Botanical Prints

Every print in the Botanique Collection begins the same way: with a real flower. Before a single line is drawn, we study the bloom itself — the way petals overlap, the gradient of color from base to tip, the small imperfections that make a real flower more interesting than a perfect one.

That reference becomes a painted illustration, then a pattern, then a case. It's a slower process than picking a stock graphic, but it's the difference between a print that looks generic and one that looks like it was made by someone who actually looked at a flower.

Azure Bloom started with a single stem of blue lily. Blue Hydrangea began with a cluster from a garden shot in early summer light. Each case in the collection has a specific botanical reference behind it — nothing generated, nothing generic.
